Established 2005 Have you enjoyed the Wayside Experience? Hamdi, Özkan & all the team at the Wayside Restaurant & Bar, Içmeler, Turkey welcome old and future friends to its website. Our aim is to provide information to friends we have not yet met on our restaurant, to provide a way for our old friends to keep in touch and to let you know our news. The Wayside is designed to provide a total dining experience - the highest quality food in a classy yet friendly environment. Music is subdued and timeless so you can talk and enjoy the meal. Summer 2008: The season is under way and Wayside is open for business. We're looking forward to welcoming you all again. We'd like to say a HUGE 'thank you!' to all of our customers who have been kind enough to recommend our restaurant on a range of websites. If any of our guests have photos of the restaurant from last season please send them to us by email (waysiderestaurant@hotmail.com) . You can also contact us & send us photos via Facebook - look for the Wayside Restaurant in Groups. Check out the photos Customer photos and the comments Comments APOLOGY: We'd like to apologise to all of those customers who have tried to contact us by email at the address on the website over the winter and have not received a reply. This was due to an error with the website that has now been sorted out. However, in order to prevent this happening again in the future we have set up another email address that is separate from the website. In future please contact us on waysiderestaurant@hotmail.com.
As always we've been adding to our menu - a favourite is the Turkish Meat Ball Casserole. This was added to our menu in 2007 & is one of our top sellers. New for 2008 is Steak Roulade, Wayside Chicken Glaze, Hunkar Beğendi & Profiteroles. We're also proud of our special order dishes here at the Wayside - lobster, fish in salt & chateau briand are available on request but we do need you to order in advance. The old favourites are still available! Who can forget the our Wayside Glaze steak, the fabulous Wayside kebap (a whole leg of lamb slow cooked with an authentic Turkish sauce) and to finish, our home made cheesecake? (With thanks to Roy Lamb from the Wirral for sending us a photo of their favourite dessert!)
Drinks
Efes Pilsen is the most popular beer in Turkey and is
refreshing at any time of the day. Wayside also offers a variety of bottled beers. Feel free to get in touch before you visit and we look forward to seeing you all this season. The Wayside Team
